Who is responsible
This site is run by Siddharta Navarro, an independent AI consultant based in Barcelona, Spain. For any question about your data, write to siddharta.navarro@gmail.com.
What this site collects
This is a personal blog. There is no user registration, no newsletter, and comments are disabled, so there is no form on this site that asks you for personal data.
- Audience statistics. This site uses Jetpack Stats, a service provided by Automattic Inc., to count visits and see which pages are read. It records your truncated IP address, browser, operating system, referring page and the pages you visit. It is used in aggregate; it is not used to identify you individually.
- Server logs. The hosting provider (Nominalia) keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
Jetpack may set cookies to tell repeat visits apart. No advertising or profiling cookies are used on this site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will keep working normally.
Legal basis
Audience statistics are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6.1.f GDPR): understanding which articles are useful in order to keep writing them. If you email me, your message is processed to reply to you, on the basis of your own request.
Who else sees your data
Automattic Inc. (Jetpack), which may process data outside the European Economic Area under the appropriate transfer safeguards, and Nominalia as the hosting provider. Your data is not sold and is not shared with anyone else.
How long it is kept
Aggregated statistics are kept for as long as this site exists. Server logs are kept according to the hosting provider’s own retention period. Emails are kept as long as they are useful for our correspondence.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to the processing of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time. Write to siddharta.navarro@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can file a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
